Fresh off acquring Death Row Records, Snoop Dogg is ringing in his momentous milestone in celebratory fashion.
On Friday (Feb. 11), he dropped the appropriately titled BODR (Bacc on Death Row) — his 20th studio album as he prepares to take center stage at the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday.

On his latest record, the West Coast legend brings along a slew of guests both familar and new. On “Conflicted,” he trades lines with Nas and on “Outside the Box,” a posthumous Nate Dogg feature reconnects the iconic pairing. In a completely unexpected move, Snoop even smoothly flows over the Curb Your Enthusiam theme song on “Crip Your Enthusiam.” It’s a complete surprise, however, producer DJ Green Lantern manages to flip the long-running comedy’s theme into an outright banger.
Snoop also dropped a collection of visualizers for each song from the new release. Each feature Snoop casually driving around LA as the song plays. The icon was recently doing press for his epic halftime show performance and joked about how there would be no wardrobe malfunctions. Dr. Dre did specify that there would be some surprises, though he didn’t go into detail about it may possibly be. Some outsider reports speculate a Tupac hologram will make a reappearance during the show, yet, there’s no comparative or confirming reports on this matter.
Snoop’s been having a stellar past few months and is looking to continue that success into the big game. Snoop Dogg will join Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J. Blige for this year’s halftime performance, as these hip-hop heavyweights look to put on the show of a lifetime in the City of Angels come Sunday.
