Trippie Redd releases fourth studio album ‘Trip At Knight’

Trippie Redd released his long-awaited album Trip At Knight at midnight, Aug. 20.

The album includes blockbuster feature artists such as Juice WRLD, XXXTENTACION, Polo G, Lil Durk, SoFaygo and more, as well as pre-released hit singles “Miss The Rage” with Playboi Carti and “Holy Smokes” featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

Curiously, “Betrayal” featuring Drake, which was on the tracklist announced by Trippie last week, did not end up on the album. However, was later released as a single when the album was re-packaged for its “Complete Edition.”

Regardless, the 18-track fourth studio album from Trippie Redd features several of hip-hop’s marquee artists. Check it out below!

Fans of Trippie Redd have been clamoring in his Instagram comments for weeks for him to drop his upcoming album Trip At Knight. Now, it’s finally coming, as Trippie gears up to release a trap AOTY contender.

Trippie surprised fans Wednesday night, announcing his album’s release date (Aug. 20) off the cuff. On Aug. 11, Trippie posted the album’s star-studded tracklist with features from Drake, XXXTENTACION, Polo G, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, SoFaygo and many others.

The album will also include the two promotional singles “Miss the Rage” with Playboi Carti and “Holy Smokes” featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

Trippie has previously said that he would release TAK before his fall tour — which begins Aug. 25 — and now right on cue, Trip At Knight is finally fast approaching.

Trippie Redd links with Lil Uzi Vert for ‘Trip At Knight’ single ‘Holy Smokes’

Trippie Redd released “Holy Smokes” featuring Lil Uzi Vert on July 16, as the second single ahead of his upcoming album Trip At Knight. The music video for the track came four days later on July 20.

Trippie Redd is gearing up to roll-out his upcoming album ‘Trip At Knight’

Trippie Redd has been teasing Trip At Knight, the sequel to his 2018 album LIFE’S A TRIP, since mid-2020. There is no clear release date or tracklist for Trip At Knight as of now, however Trippie has been dropping several clues in the form of previewing tracks, Instagram comments, releasing singles, revealing cover art and announcing tours.

In May, Trippie dropped eerie, hard-hitting banger featuring Playboi Carti, “Miss the Rage.” The song peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is presumably the first single for Trip At Knight.

In mid-June, Trippie Redd announced the “Tripp At Knight” tour with openers iann dior and SoFaygo hosted by Rolling Loud. The tour begins in late August, but it seemed a bit strange that he would announce the tour for the album without releasing the album.

However, Redd would post the upcoming album’s bizarre cover art to Instagram nine days later on June 24. Rumored features for the album include Lil Tjay, Polo G, The Kid LAROI, Lil Durk, Lil Uzi Vert and many others. It seems that the album may be slowly coming to form.

Trippie Redd hopped in his Instagram comments two days ago, July 2, to ease his fan’s anxiety about his new album’s release. A fan was curious about why the tour announcement came before the album, and Trippie replied that the album would be out before he hit the road.

This means that the Canton native has less than two months to drop Trip At Knight, considering the tour begins on August 25 in Minneapolis. Trippie has been alluding to this album for almost a year, and fans could finally be listening to it very soon.
