This may be one of Isaiah Rashad’s most thorough album roll-outs yet, dropping a plethora of visuals for his sophomore album, The House Is Burning.
Featuring a dark, raspy verse from YGTUT, the music video for “Chad” takes place on an active night around a gas station, as Zay and his friends vibe out to the track’s signature chill-funk sound.
There is no shortage of cameos in the visual as well, as appearances by Amine, Denzel Curry, Dominic Fike, Childish Major, Reason and Jay Rock all show them singing along to Zay’s infectious hook.
As Rashad’s upcoming “Lil Sunny’s Awesome Vacation Tour” (with Childish Major and Ray Vaughn) kicks off Sept. 8, most of the tour’s shows are already sold out. Reaching a level unmatched in 2021 — as THIB has been in numerous conversations for hip-hop’s album of the year — Zay’s tour will mark his first headliner since 2017, taking TDE newcomer Vaughn along for the ride.
While Zay’s recent resurgence in the rap scene has been incredibly fruitful, TDE prepares to continue its 2021 takeover with the long-awaited return of Kendrick Lamar.
But for now, spin Zay’s incredibly eclectic album, The House Is Burning below.
