Wifisfuneral drops off new album ‘4 Month Binge Before Revenge’

While Florida is very much known for their bounty of unique artists and diverse soundscapes, one of the state’s most well-established artists returned with a new project.

On Sept. 23, West Palm Beach native Wifisfuneral dropped off his first full-length project in over a year, 4 Month Binge Before Revenge

The face-tatted phenom’s 12-track project follows his beloved 2021 7-track mixtape Smoking Mirrors. Much like many of Wifi’s previous releases like these, 4MBBR sees the rapper showcase his agile flow, ruthlessly honest lyrics and topics of drug abuse in a truly unique fashion, as well as displaying his occasional tendency to simply make music about new things that bring him joy in life, evident on “New Charger.”

In unison with the album’s release, Wfi also delivered an impressive visual for his track “DEADWALK.” The visual was directed by Gabriel Smoak and shows Wifi sitting on the ground with candles surrounding him while singing along to “DEADWALK” in a dark, ominous room.

Although this is his first project in a while, Wifi has stayed plenty busy throughout the year. In his 2022 campaign, the 25-year-old delivered nine singles, providing fans with an abundance of frequent releases full of his distinctive South Florida sound before the entire LP arrived.
