Yeat is back with a somewhat unexpected, but highly necessary release.
The 2093 artist returns without little notice, delivering a two-pack of new tracks which include his highly anticipated “King tonka” snippet, as well as a collaboration with Cactus Jack’s Don Toliver titled “Heavy Stunts.”
The two tracks follow Yeat’s highly praised, experimental album 2093 and is his first release to DSPs since the project dropped. He did, however, deliver a SoundCloud exclusive titled “HeliMAn” on April 18 — teasing fans and giving them something to hold them over as he prepared to release new music to streaming platforms.
The two new tracks arrived shortly after the Lyfëstyle Corporation rapper teased fans on IG with snippets, upcoming projects, and visuals, while also asking if he should drop new music. Little did fans know they would be treated to new music just days later.
In both tracks, fans will find nostalgic remnants of Yeat’s early days, as he taps into his distinctive and beloved rage-styled production and sound. On he and Toliver’s “Heavy Stunts,” the HardStone Psycho rapper employed Yeat’s signature vocal chain to tear off an infectious verse.
Yeat has been on a major run throughout 2024 so far and he’s not slowing down anytime soon. He took to his story, promising fans two new projects before the end of 2024, so stay tuned for more snippets and teasers as Yeat is sure to keep feeding his fans new music throughout the year.
