Young Thug previews new music off ‘PUNK’ at Givenchy show

In light of Jeffrey’s “PUNK” teasers, attendees of Givenchy’s fashion show Sunday were treated to a preview of unreleased Young Thug music.

Thug announced that his long-awaited album, Punk, would release on Oct. 15 during his NPR Tiny Desk Concert. During the performance, he performed four unreleased songs, including his newest single “Tick Tock.”

Givenchy’s Spring-Summer 2022 Full Womenswear Fashion Show Collection featured a soundtrack curated by Thugger himself. A single featuring both Gunna and Elton John was a hot topic of conversation following the event, as well as the previously performed track “Hate the Game.” A third single, “Police,” also began circulating via social media also making its way on the runway.

Elton John was recently interviewed by Billboard, praising Thug for his freestyling ability during their time collaborating. During a recent studio session for his upcoming album, The Lockdown Sessions, the Atlanta rapper blew John away with his ability to come up with lyrics on the spot.

While Punk is set to release in 10 days, listeners patiently await to see Thug’s next era unfold before their eyes — with hopefully more Elton collaborations in the future.
