What do you get when you combine an up-and-coming Atlanta rapper, a SoundCloud era production pioneer, an enigmatic hitmaker and a legendary rock band?
Odds are, you get “Emotions,” the newest single from Bighead and Yung Booke featuring Young Thug and Three Days Grace. This unprecedented collaboration has a melancholy chorus that is tag-teamed by Three Days Grace and Yung Booke, with varying refrains and bridges from the band throughout the song and an additional verse from the Hustle Gang rapper.
Young Thug hops in the mix with his predictably unorthodox flows and melodies. He manages to switch his flow multiple times, using different voices and rhyme schemes to keep the listener engaged.
Yung Booke and Bighead also released “Put That Shit On” with Gunna near the end of 2020. It hasn’t been revealed whether these singles are part of a bigger project, but listeners will find out soon enough.
