Glokk40Spaz Interview: ‘Took The Biggest Risk’

“Remember Me” was not only a call to action for Glokk40Spaz last August, but a fortune he’ll tell looking back on his career years later.

From earning co-signs from SoFaygo, Duwap Kaine and D Savage (saying “he’s the reason why I wanted to rap”) to sonic comparisons of Chief Keef and NBA Youngboy, Glokk has become THE hottest topic in the underground in a matter of months — armed with a ferocious cult following that grows daily.

The Decatur, Georgia native has taken the internet by storm with tracks like “Round Here” and “Definition,” among others. After all, his name derives from his ability to “spaz out” in the studio — evident on his latest album Glokk Files. At 19-years-old, he’s blowing up regardless of being behind bars, looking forward to flooding the game with new music, much like his upcoming album Took The Biggest Risk.

In this exclusive interview, OGM host Hakeem Rowe chops it up with Glokk40Spaz from his jail cell, where the pair talk about his project ‘Glokk Files,’ his forthcoming album, the adversity of dealing with fame in jail, inspirations and so much more. Be sure to catch Glokk on the OGM NEXT GEN TOUR this Fall!
