Chicago’s rising star PGF Nuk drops new mixtape ‘Switch Music’

With Polo G, G Herbo, Lil Durk, King Von and other prominent Chicago emcees achieving mainstream acclaim over the past few years, PGF Nuk is the latest out of the Windy City to seize his opportunity.

With aforementioned artists like Polo and Herbo in his corner, Nuk released his brand new mixtape Switch Music on Friday (July 8). Along with a feature from Herbo on the closer “Waddup (Swervo Remix)” and Polo’s assist on the first remix of “Waddup,” Nuk was able to attract other stellar features from other rising acts like EST Gee, BIG30 and more.

Ahead of the project’s release, songs on the track list like “Talk My Sh*t,” “Waddup,” and “It’s Nuk” all made noise as promotional singles, with “Waddup” having 11 million Spotify streams and its music video having 27 million views. The visuals for “Talk My Sh*t,” released in May and “It’s Nuk” from January have also both eclipsed 2.5 million views.

Simultaneously with the release of Switch Music, Chicago’s street-centric prodigy dropped the music video for the seventh song “Not Opps” with EST Gee, which is sure to do massive numbers much like most of his visuals.

With support from major artists and a clear ability to achieve viral status, it’s clear that PGF Nuk is here to stay, so it’d be best to tap in with him sooner rather than later.
