Lil Keed’s estate honors late rapper with posthumous album ‘Keed Talk To ‘Em 2’

Fans of YSL have been starving for music amid the label’s current legal issues, followed immediately by the passing of Lil Keed — one of the integral members of the Young Thug-led collective.

Now, Keed’s estate honored his 25th birthday with the release of his fifth official project Keed Talk To ‘Em 2 on Friday (March 17), leading in the record with two heartfelt singles over the last month.

Dropping the record’s latest effort in the inspiring “Self Employed,” the track is a testament to Keed’s entrepreneurial spirit that led him to his association with Young Thug and YSL. In February, Keed’s estate announced KTTE2 with the immersively hopeful “Long Way To Go,” which reminisces on the highs of his career while working towards a higher level of stardom.

Keed Talk To ‘Em 2 follows up on Keed’s most acclaimed LP to date — pushing him closer to his career goals, even in passing. Touting a total of 20 songs featuring the likes of Young Thug, Big Sean, Cordae, KayCyy, Trippie Redd and more, Lil Keed’s legacy as one of Atlanta’s most cohesive artists is further solidified on KTTE2.

His undeniable charisma made his passing hit even harder, proven by the contributions in “SRT” with his brother Lil Gotit, “Can’t Fall Victim” with close collaborator KayCyy, “All I Wanna Know” featuring Thug and his most recent single “Hitman” — which came with a coinciding visual on Friday (March 17).

Hopefully this project helps fans mourn the loss of one of the industry’s favorite artists during a tumultuous time for YSL. Long live Lil Keed.
