Less than a month removed from dropping his first post-Ethereal track “Ms. Porter,” $NOT is already back with new sounds.
After teasing an ultimate pluggnb cut “Immaculate” on social media last week (July 29) with minimalistic visuals in the short clip, the New York-born emcee officially dropped his new single on Friday (Aug. 5). The new release also keeps his promise of dropping “every three weeks.”

“Immaculate” is produced by Canadian producer Geeohhs, who help kick off the track with a slow build-up into the main chorus. Once the beat comes to fruition, it provides a spacey and open feel to the rest of the track that lets $NOT easily flow and transition between verses. $NOT follows up the growing beat with incredible bars about assisting his emotions with substances and how he can only trust himself.
I’m smokin’ and rollin’ and chokin’
My mind don’t be open for none of that bullshit (Yeah)
While I run to the ocean, my feet in slow motion
Somebody come help me, I’m trippin’ (Trippin’)
Just give me one moment, I’m full of emotions
My cup filled with poison, I’m sippin’ (Yeah)
“Immaculate” – $NOT
The “Doja” superstar has already had himself quite a year, dropping off his third studio album Ethereal in February which included features from A$AP Rocky, Trippie Redd, Joey Bada$$ and more. The album was a major success for the the deep-voiced, hooded phenom, as it is his highest charting project on the Billboard 200 to date.
Ethereal was praised for its perfect incorporation of slower ballads mixed with high energy bangers — easily becoming a fun fan-favorite in $NOT’s discography. His July 8 single “Ms. Porter” also included a memorable verse from Night Lovell and production from rising producer-rapper Eem Triplin.
While fans wait to see what $NOT is unfolding from his vault, he’s keeping his fans well fed with new tunes every month — and “Immaculate” proved him right once more.
