Ty Dolla $ign: The ninth installment of Fast and Furious franchise brings the trio together for their soundtrack’s lead single.
On June 4, “I Won” by Ty Dolla $ign, Jack Harlow, and 24kGoldn released as a single for the upcoming ninth installment of the Fast and Furious film series — F9: The Fast Saga.
Each of these three artists are coming off big years in 2020. Ty Dolla $ign dropped his third studio album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign in October. On the album, he stepped into the spotlight as more than just a feature artist, along with an elite cast of features from all over the industry.
Jack Harlow leveled up in 2020 by dropping his debut album Thats What They All Say with hits like “Whats Poppin,” which went 5x Platinum and saw Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez hop on the remix, as well as “Tyler Herro,” which peaked at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In 2020, 24kGoldn saw his hit single “Mood” featuring Iann Dior soar to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieve 4x Platinum status.
“I Won” starts with Ty Dolla $ign establishing the song as a victory anthem reaping the benefits of winning on the hook.
Medals ’round my neck because I won, I won (Won, I won)
Now my momma set ’cause I won, I won (Won, I won)

After the chorus, Harlow makes his presence known only sticking to two different rhyme schemes. His bars are full of flexing his commercial success and irresistible appeal to women.
Ten weeks, I’ve been top tennin’
She need me like oxygen

After the second round of the hook, 24kGoldn comes in with the second and final verse just oozing luxury. The verse is full of references to beautiful views, loads of money, and fast cars which surely fulfills the relevance to the film the soundtrack is dedicated to.
