Tyler, The Creator’s ‘CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST’ earns Billboard No. 1 debut

First Tyler the creator’s album in two years brings his return to the top of the charts.

Sixth Studio of Tyler, The Creator’s album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, definitely deserves all the praise it’s getting, as the album is set to gift Tyler with his second Billboard No. 1 album of his career, selling 177,000 total units.

CMIYGL is Tyler’s first project after a two-year hiatus — having dropped IGOR in May 2019. Eight songs from IGOR landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with hit single “EARFQUAKE” featuring Playboi Carti reaching No. 13. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Now, Tyler the creator’s album is as show-stopping as his last. CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, in similar fashion to the prominent 2000s Gangsta Grillz mixtape series, is hosted by DJ Drama. The album seemingly serves as a culmination of all of Tyler, The Creator’s eras in one.

The versatile feature rosters includes 42 Dugg, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Pharrell Williams, Teezo Touchdown, Brent Faiyaz, Domo Genesis, Fana Hues and DAISY WORLD.

Tyler the creator’s new album CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST seems to be set to achieve the same commercial status as IGOR. According to Chart Data, the album is looking to sell around 185,000 copies, where IGOR sold 165,000. This would land Tyler, The Creator his second consecutive No. 1 album, with surely multiple songs on the Hot 100.

The fourth song on the record “WUSYANAME” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and YoungBoy Never Broke Again currently sits at No. 1 on the Apple Music singles chart globally and in the United States, and many of the album’s songs occupy the top 20 on both of these charts.
