New music from legendary R&B singer Alicia Keys is always a reason to celebrate. “LALA (Unlocked)” debuted at the VMAs this past weekend and features vocals from none other than Rae Sremmerd’s Swae Lee.
Mike WiLL Made-It works his magic on the instrumental keeping things in-house with Swae and the Rae Sremmerd crew. Both Swae Lee and Keys perfectly find their balance as sweet chords and rhythmic drums waft between their verses — playing more like conversations with back-and-forth rhyme schemes and emotional lyricism.
Swae Lee has also been hard at work this year, hopping on features with Major Lazer, 24kGoldn, Lil Yachty, Chelsea Collins, Skrillex, PnB Rock, IDK and Pop Smoke.
Additionally, he dropped tracks with Jack Harlow and Jhené Aiko for the Madden NFL 22 and Shang-Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings soundtracks, respectively.

Alicia Keys has been blessing her fans this year, recently dropping a remastered and extended version of her 2001 debut album Songs In A Minor at the beginning of June.
She also handpicked a couple of her favorite songs from her newest album, ALICIA, for a condensed version titled ALICIA: The Selects.
