North Carolina rapper/singer BIGBABYGUCCI has been unstoppable this year, dropping project after project of futuristic bangers and melodic trap music.
His latest drop is SUMMER OF REVENGE — a 13-song LP run entirely by Gucci himself. This marks his third full-length release in 2022, with the other two following his featureless formula.
BIGBABYGUCCI continues his use of heavy synths and EDM-style drums in his instrumentals, acknowledging his experimental style by including an acoustic version of standout track “Level.” His ability to rap and sing over otherworldly instrumentals results in a variety of ethereal ballads and love songs, giving plenty of diversity despite his sole performance on the record.
Earlier this year, BIGBABYGUCCI dropped his albums Soda & Syrup and Iridesense — flooding his discography with 23 solo songs between the two projects. His work ethic has been relentless as he outdoes himself with each release, using his gritty autotune to complement his various flows.
If you are a fan of the “Drop Top Lexus” emcee, you can currently catch him on tour which is set to finish up in September at Rolling Loud Toronto. It’s doubtful he will let up on the gas anytime soon, as BIGBABYGUCCI is only just getting started.
