BLP Kosher drops off visual for ‘2000’s Baby’

If you’ve yet to tap in, Florida’s “Dreidel Man” BLP Kosher continues to prove he’s anything but a gimmick.

While the South Florida rapper started gaining traction in the latter part of 2022 with songs like “Jew on the Canoe” and “The Nac,” hip-hop and its fans are now majorly aware of his presence. Kosher’s distinct look, creative wordplay and impressive flows (and skate tricks IYKYK) not only make him one of the most fascinating newcomers in the game, but a viral force to be reckoned with.

An arguable frontrunner for 2023’s ROTY — due to support from Cole Bennett and BabyTron (“Mazel Tron”) alongside multiple viral songs and moments (“Special K”) — he reconfirmed these co-signs with his 19-track debut album, Bars Mitzvah, in early August, which features fellow Floridians in Luh Tyler and Trapland Pat.

A month after the record’s release, Kosher shared the visual to a bona fide Bars Mitzvah highlight in “2000’s Baby,” which showcases the rapper with a broken arm swarmed by snakes and bats as he raps along to the track. The video, directed by Scotty Friedman, also contains an ominous tint that gives an extra kick to the spooky vibe of the visual.

BLP Kosher is as serious about his craft as they come. It’s clear that he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and Bars Mitzvah was just the beginning.
