If there is one thing you should be thankful for this holiday season, it’s new music from Chicago native CP. The Lyrical Lemonade affiliate dropped off a fresh new 5-pack mixtape titled Hall of Fame (Hof) on Nov. 25.
Hall of Fame (Hof) follows CP’s April sophomore album YOTD, becoming his second project released this year. Ahead of the mixtape’s release, CP dropped off the visual for “Chi2detroit” on Nov. 21, which was the EP’s lead single.
Throughout the 11-minute duration of Hall of Fame (Hof), CP flows the through the tape solo — displaying his trembling bass-infused vocals that come with pure power. Despite CP’s gritty, baritone vocals though, his flow is very relaxed, as he showcases his lyrical abilities and comfortability rapping over every instrumental.
Hall of Fame (Hof) is a major step in the right direction for the young dot connector, as he showcases his versatility and progression as an exciting up-and-comer. As CP continues to broaden his sound and grow his following and industry connections, it won’t be long till he’s in the “Hall of Fame” himself.
