Destroy Lonely delays ‘Luv4Ya’ ahead of new album ‘LOVE LAST FOREVER’

Destroy Lonely is letting love run wild with his upcoming album, LOVE LAST FOREVER, on the way.

Originally slated for release in April, the Opium superstar tweeted out that the record’s supposed lead single “Luv4Ya” will drop on May 10—ultimately pushing back the release of his sophomore studio album. May 10 came and went, though, as “Luv4Ya” was seemingly delayed missing its announced release date.

In the interim, Lone has teased numerous snippets and photos on his alt-Instagram account @lovelastforever.us, garnering hype for the follow-up to his acclaimed 2023 debut If Looks Could Kill.

Marked by performances at Lollapalooza and Coachella (peep his interview on-site with Nardwuar here), Lonely and his Opium label-mate/best friend Ken Carson—who recently shared the high-energy “overseas“—have ascended to new heights in just over a year.

Prior to collaborations with PinkPantheress (“Turn Your Phone Off“), Quavo (“Potato Loaded“) and more, If Looks Could Kill nabbed Lone his highest-charting debut of his career, netting 30,000 first-week units and earning a Top 20 berth on the Billboard 200. Additionally, he and Ken recently linked up on Southside’s “President.”

LOVE LAST FOREVER not only looks to continue Destroy Lonely’s stratospheric climb as a generational talent, but is poised to cement him among an echelon of stars tinged with timeless value.
