Guapdad 4000, Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y strike a ‘Pose’ on new collab

Bay Area native Guapdad 4000 is notorious for his mesmerizing flows and suave demeanor — bringing his relaxed yet enticing energy to his latest single.

Following his June 1 track “Grammys,” Guap returns with a chill record with Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y, as the swagged-out trio strike a “Pose” for the West Coast. Wiz leads things off with a boastful verse, describing his money-making moves before Guapdad comes through with a finesse-fueled hook — describing himself as a “full-time prom king.”

Guap and Curren$y continue with the same subject matter in their verses, tossing in a few lines about their exotic weed before the track comes to a close. Visuals for “Pose” equally match the energy of the track, as the trio hang out in settings prime for photoshoots galore.

“All the hoes wanna go to hookah bars now

So I went and bought a hookah, I hook her

Call a group of bad hoes, badgin’ new ones

On the campus to scoop up the scubas

My business is boomin’, I blew up

Upon entry, they noticed I grew up

I hit this Za’ and I flew up

I’m on demon, we pre-gamin’ too much”

Guapdad 4000 — “Pose”

So far, 2022 has brought us a solid streak of fire singles from the California rapper, following up last year’s collaborative project with !llmind titled 1176.I Need Bands,” “Black Iverson,” “Ruthless” and “Cheap” showcase everything Guapdad has to offer — touring party-ready bangers and wavy tracks for night-time drives alike.

Hopefully these singles lead into his next full-length project, as “Pose” proves itself to be a perfect offering for summer kickbacks and barbecues. Whatever Guapdad 4000 has in store this year, it’s sure to be worth the wait.
