Independent New Jersey native Hefna380 linked up with Our Generation Music’s own SaintOnSet for a brand new visual “Mustang Keyz” off his latest project Out of the World.
“Mustang Keyz” is a great example of Hefna’s confident, high energy style born out of the SoundCloud underground. Augmented with his signature dynamic vocals effects and energetic ad-libs, Hefna delivers a dense melodic flow over uncharacteristically heavy production (prod. by Georgie) – looking more like a rockstar than ever flexing his colored dreads and vamp fit.
Directed by the man behind the camera of all of your favorite OGM interviews, SaintOnSet, the visual for “Mustang Keyz” is stuffed with trippy edits and VFX that will feel familiar to fans of the underground, but definitely comes with its own flavor. True to the title, the visual also features a Mustang doing donuts in the loading bay of a warehouse.
20-year-old Hefna is a promising new artist bringing a disciplined yet carefree approach to the new wave – and his “Mustang Keyz” visual seems like a perfect way to mark the launch of SaintOnSet’s own Youtube platform.
