In the midst of a meteoric rise since his signing to Roc Nation last year, LA native Kalan.FrFr blessed his growing following with 222, his first full-length release in 2022.
Bringing off-the-cuff melodies and unpredictable flows, Kalan has captured listeners’ ears with a sound that lends itself to sunsets on the beach and late night drives. This project expands on his sound, proving his penchant for pleasant love songs and motivational ballads.
Kalan.FrFr’s versatility shines through all over 222, ranging from amped-up vapor trap on “Diablo” to a Blxst-assisted love lullaby for “No Stoppin.”
A soulful serenade titled “Pull Up” received visuals last week (Aug. 10), initially prepping fans for the 13-track release with the only other single being his collaboration with aforementioned Los Angeles-based, R&B phenom Blxst.
Embodying the new school West Coast bounce, Kalan is poised to take over the airwaves with his hit-making abilities in due time. 222 is just the beginning for the talented crooner, prepping his fans for the success that’s sure to follow.
