Lil Pj has arrived, as the Atlanta native has been on an absolute roll lately. With the release of multiple momentum-shifting tracks and the rapid growth of his young but loyal fanbase, Pj continues to come-up as a fringe underground star.
In early January, Lil Pj sat at just 21,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Fast forward two official releases in “Buzz” and “Mud Baby,” Pj has nearly quadrupled his listener count — garnering nearly 100,000 monthly users.
As his popularity grows — with thousands of fans following the young star’s progression — big names are also taking notice of his success and sound. He’s collaborated with Ty Fontaine, Lil Gotit and was even featured on his recent album Top Chef Gotit.
Recruiting Lil Gotit’s older brother and YSL member Lil Keed, his latest effort “Leveled Up” seems to sum up PJ’s year so far perfectly. It is the third presumed track off his upcoming project Gift From God set to drop in late February. .
“Leveled Up” is another step in the right direction for Pj, showcasing his confidently delivered bars, quick flow and distinct vocals which carry an authentic Atlanta bounce. Keed comes in hot, bringing an abundance of energy that contains his unique vocals and YSL flair.
