Mach-Hommy shares two new EPs in Dump Gawd series: ‘Triz Nathan’ and ‘Triz Nate’

Mach-Hommy is steadily feeding his fans this year.

After dropping a brief and highly-priced EP Dump Gawd: Triz Nathaniel back in February, the Newark-based emcee released two additional EPs to complete the trilogy. Just like the original tape, the EPs Triz Nathan and Triz Nate are available on his website for the heavy price of $222.22.

Similar to the first project, each of these new EPs finds Mach flowing over beats handled by one singular beat-maker. On Triz Nathan, he enlists producer Sadhu Gold, while on Triz Nate, he links up with Nicholas Craven. The latter has been flourishing in the underground over the past few months thanks in part to his collaborative album with Your Old Droog, YOD Wave, and his own solo project Craven N 3. Both of these producers tailor their work to Mach’s strengths and like always, the gifted lyricist adapts to anything thrown at him.

On the newest drop, Mach links up with JuJu Gotti for two of the four tracks. Listeners can freely stream these tracks “Baby Lon” and “Trigonometry” on Mach’s site. On the latter, Gotti handles hook duty over a calming, meditative beat. Craven builds this serene atmosphere using some simple flutes and Mach croons and softly raps over it beautifully. Knowing Craven and Mach’s track record, one can only assume the 2 other tracks “Known Unknown” and “Sans Maquillage” match the quality of these tracks.

Mach is always consistent and this trilogy of EPs continues to prove why he’s one of the best emcees currently out there. However, his high price points may detract listeners from hearing some of these incredible lines.

Hopefully, when it comes time for Mach to release his next full-length project, it will be more accessible to everyone.
