Three new tracks in two weeks’ time? Is this real life?
Playboi Carti unleashed his latest track “H00DBYAIR” — also referred to as “Tundra” — on Tuesday (Dec. 19) after teasing the new effort on his IG. Tbe track was released exclusively to his second IG opium_opium, the same method as “Ur The Moon (Different Day).”
Just last week, the Opium leader shared “2024” just hours before Kanye West’s VULTURES listening party in Las Vegas. Carti’s highly-anticipated album MUSIC is also rumored to release in January, according to DJ Akademiks.
On “2024,” produced by ojivolta, earlonthebeat and Kanye West, Carti and Ye appear alongside each other in the surprise visual — linking with West shortly after his VULTURES RAVE listening party Monday (Dec. 12) in Miami.
It seems likely “2024” was made shortly after Carti touched down in Florida. However, “H00DBYAIR” was teased earlier this month in a snippet featuring Opium signees in Destroy Lonely, Ken Carson and Homixide Gang — who all appear in its coinciding visual.
With more MUSIC looming and Opium’s Antagonist Tour in sight, Playboi Carti continues to prove he’s one of the greatest to ever do it.
