Tay-K to go live on Instagram from prison Wednesday: Tay-K isn’t letting his lengthy incarceration stop him from getting some fan engagement.
On Tuesday (June 15), Tay-K posted on his Instagram story that he would be live streaming Wednesday to answer questions from his following. Fans were perplexed as to how this would happen — potentially facing the consequences of interacting with the outside virtually. However, the 21-year-old rapper doesn’t seem concerned.
Tay k Instagram: Currently held in San Antonio, Texas, Tay-K has amassed a cult-like following that patiently awaits his release, though it doesn’t seem like that will happen anytime soon.
His first hit, “The Race”, was an infectious banger that took over the rap scene in 2017. Ironically, the success of his music was part of what made it easier for authorities to find him, as he was on the run for a murder charge at the time.
Tay-K was convicted and sentenced to 55 years in prison, which he is currently two years into serving. He will no doubt be elaborating on his legal situation if this live stream happens, as fans will have to wait and see how the situation unfolds.
