Detroit street legend Tee Grizzley has quite a knack for narrative.
His new project, Chapters Of The Trenches, not only sees Grizzley stay true to his uniquely vivid narration, but proves to be a visual albun in itself. Spinning tales in multiple parts, Tee’s all-video strategy truly makes for an authentic experience.
Recently, Tee Grizzley joined Billboard for an interview to discuss his motivation in creating this album and his other ventures. Regarding the project, he explained, “It all started with “Robbery.” I didn’t expect it to get the reaction that it got. It’s been crazy and people just kept asking for more parts.”
His recent exploits have been less violent than his visual album may suggest. While he rakes in cash from his Twitch streaming success, garnering a whole new audience from the gaming community. Over the last two years, his Grand Theft Auto V role-playing server has been creating unlimited content for his Twitch stream, entertaining almost 890,000 followers on his channel.
His latest string of releases comes following Half Tee Half Beast, 17 tracks of heat featuring appearances from Lakeyah and Baby Grizzley. In addition to his solo ventures, Tee also showed up for a feature on King Von’s posthumous album, What It Means To Be King.
