Just one week removed from Chris Brown securing his second straight Crew League championship trophy, knocking off G Herbo in the finals, we have more hoops between some of the rap industry’s best.
Season 3 consisted of marquee names like NLE Choppa, 24KGoldn, Toosii and more, as each game features highly competitive battles between rappers or singers and their either recruited or homegrown crews.
But, for the first time ever, The Crew League has now provided a bonus episode, which they have dubbed the Crew League Battle of the Producers Classic. The single exhibition game features a face-off between supremely relevant, trap instrumentalist icons Hit-Boy and London on da Track.
London on da Track’s “Team London” consists of mainly his close friends, such as famed DJ and reality TV star DJ Stevie J and his cousin Colby Daniels, who served as the team’s player-coach.
Hit-Boy’s “Surf Club” squad, on the other hand, contained some elite talent from the Los Angeles/Pasadena area, such as former Division I players like Trevon Harmon who played at Cleveland State, Blake Hamilton who played at Buffalo and now plays overseas professionally in the Mediterranean country of Cyprus and Doug Thomas, who played at Iowa and professionally in Canada, Mexico and many other countries. The team’s player-coach is Reggie Wallace, an influencer/basketball skills trainer who is also from the Pasadena area.
While both Hit-Boy and London are not necessarily the best talents their teams have to offer, their energy and attitude surely dictate how their teams perform.
