Yung Bleu celebrates continued success as a producer

Yung Bleu has steadily risen as one of the industry’s most sought after talents. While the “You’re Mines Still” singer-rapper has had a stratospheric 2021 off the back of his hit with Drake, he’s linked up with fellow Young Money legend Lil Wayne, scoring a record with Weezy according to his latest post.

Bleu not only showed his appreciation for Weezy in an Instagram video — where he exclaimed his enthusiasm after Wayne hopped on his beat — he also revealed that he has some pretty potent production skills, earning praise from some of music’s biggest stars. Considering Bleu’s catalog of solo music, it will be interesting to hear what he has to offer within his beats.

Tory Lanez also apparently received some instrumentals from Bleu according to a tweet he posted on Dec. 28. Apparently he is multi-talented with music, garnering heavy praise from the Toronto rapper.

Bleu has stayed plenty busy on his own this year, most recently appearing on Money Man’s Christmas Eve single, “Fans Go Crazy.” His 2021 album, Moon Boy, brought on appearances from John Legend, H.E.R., Kodak Black, Kehlani, Big Sean, Drake, Chris Brown and more, lining up to be one of the most stacked projects of the year. The Mobile, Alabama rapper also took home Best New Artist at the BET Hip-Hop Awards and BET Soul Train awards this past year — further proving that his potential is truly sky-high.

Considering his vocal talent, Bleu’s producer touch could prove to be a deadly combo in his upcoming projects and singles. Until then, he continues his climb as one of hip-hop’s blossoming young stars.
