Juice WRLD Day 2024: ‘The Party Never Ends’

CHICAGO — The final Juice WRLD Day was fitting for the Chicago icon’s final album.

Fans swarmed the United Center in Chicago on Saturday (Nov. 30). Camera lights flashed sporadically through the ceaseless puffs of smoke filling the arena. Gaming setups line the West side of the UC, playing Juice’s newly-released Fortnite collaboration with candor. The concourse was packed with lime green and white VLONE x 999 merch, as sets from the late-rapper’s longtime DJ, Mike P, as well as Chicago own’s G Herbo, Vonoff1700, Polo G and Star Bandz and more had the city feeling right at home.

Days before his 26th birthday, there was a different vibe heading into this year’s JWD. While past years felt like a moment in time that pulled from parts of Juice’s deep musical archive, listening to the “final Juice WRLD album,” The Party Never Ends, in person felt like the “concert” Grade A co-founder Lil Bibby described. With his mother Carmella Wallace in attendance, as well as a slew of Juice’s longtime friends and family, JWD 2024 was a need to be there occasion, sending Juice’s last posthumous effort into the sunset.

TPNE’s live counterpart at JWD acted as another everlasting tribute to the life and legacy of Jarad Anthony Higgins. Our fourth—and final—JWD coverage consisted of performances from Lil Yachty, Dave Blunts, Concrete Boyz and much more.
