Juice WRLD drops final posthumous album ‘The Party Never Ends’

After nearly three years of delays and constant leaks, Juice WRLD’s The Party Never Ends has finally arrived.

Officially announced by way of a futuristic album trailer (directed by longtime Grade A collaborator Steve Cannon), TPNE is the “final” posthumous Juice WRLD project after a multi-year streak of afterlife efforts.

Holding 18 total tracks (consisting of five never-before-heard cuts and a handful of longtime leaks), Grade A immortalizes Juice’s legacy one final time, immersing fans into music that feels like “you’re at a Juice concert,” according to Lil Bibby. Featuring Offset on “Celebrate,” Fall Out Boy and The Kid LAROI on a heartfelt tribute titled “Goodbye,” the album also touts lead singles in “Lace It” with Eminem and Benny Blanco as well as the sequel to “All Girls Are The Same” with Nicki Minaj.

The party isn’t over either. Coinciding the late-rapper’s celebration and tribute in Fortnite, which will unleash another new track titled “Empty Out Your Pockets,” the third posthumous Juice record brought forth a pair of music videos in “Misfit” and its intro track “The Party Never Ends.” Both visuals incorporate tour footage and BTS directly from Steve Cannon’s archive.

Interestingly, TPNE album’s artwork was designed by Takashi Murakami, the famous Japanese artist who’s fashioned covers for Kanye West, Kid Cudi and more. Murakami is a known fan of the Soundcloud era star: “I was a big fan of Juice WRLD. He came to my studio, he looked so happy.”

Prior to the release of “AGATS (Insecure)”, Juice’s estate released The Pre-Party EP—which featured grails like “Aquafina,” “Cavalier” and “Light Years” with Young Thug. Singles like “Lace It,” “The Light,” “Face 2 Face” and more held fans over as Lil Bibby and Grade A prepped for TPNE’s eventual release. Juice’s two posthumous albums, Legends Never Die and Fighting Demons, were both commercially embraced and beloved by fans, earning No. 1 and No. 2 debuts on the Billboard 200 respectively.

The fourth annual Juice WRLD Day not only looks to commemorate Juice’s life and legacy, but provide as a collective listening of TPNE for all of his fans. Featuring performances from Trippie Redd, Kodak Black, Lil Yachty, Polo G and more, the event will take place on Nov. 30 at the United Center in Chicago.

Long live Juice WRLD.
