Scorey delivers impressive melodies on ‘Girls Love Rod Wave’

Through his beautifully-assembled melodies and ear-catching vocals, Scorey has developed all the proper elements to become a superstar. Whether he decides to effortlessly rap bar-for-bar or slow things down and smoothly harmonize, there is truly something for everyone in his tracks.

The 23-year-old has seriously made a name for himself, being recruited to Chicago superstar Polo G’s label — whom he has gotten plenty of comparisons to. Along with releasing his 4-track EP Guardian Angel, Scorey was also featured on Internet Money prodigy Dro Kenji’s most recent album WITH OR WITHOUT YOU for their song “FINDERS KEEPERS.”

While Scorey has been in high demand being tapped for features by a slew of artists, he’s decided to go solo on his latest efforts. Dropping off a two-pack with his already popular song “Die Young” which is a remix to The Band Perry’s hit song “If I Die Young,” Scorey shared why “Girls Love Rod Wave” on his new single Friday (Feb. 18).

In “Girls Love Rod Wave,” Scorey comfortably sing-raps over a slower, more smooth guitar instrumental. Like all Scorey tracks, the Syracuse, New York native displays his heavenly vocals, mixed with his beautifully-sung hooks that merge together flawlessly.
