Atlanta has the game on lock—and OsamaSon and Glokk40Spaz are a major reason for the city’s spotlight in the underground.
Off the back of solo records (FLEX MUSIX and Took The Biggest Risk), Glokk and Osama collide for a 9-track EP laced with pure heat. 3VIL REFLECTION, released to all streaming platforms on Friday (May 24), is the epitome of ATL’s current stronghold on the new wave.
Boasting whiry synths, plugg-influenced percussion, distorted autotune and a carefree attitude, both Glokk and Osama flex—and effortlessly mesh—their respective styles to create fireworks throughout. Combatting their vices, drugs and affinity to overlook lovers, 3VIL REFLECTION celebrates their fast-rise to fame, swagging out on highlights like “Bankroll,” “ADHD,” “Wicked,” “Blame Dem Drugz” and more.
If there’s an underground tape of the moment, it’s Glokk and Osama’s—looking hard into their 3VIL REFLECTION(s) and letting their combined sound fully stand out. It’s a joint effort built on personality and charisma. The only downside? We need more than nine tracks. This duo is one we definitely need more of moving forward.
