Howling for new music, Baby Keem answered fans’ calls by teasing his forthcoming album, Child With Wolves.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday (Jan. 2), the pgLang artist revealed a batch of text messages containing mock-up artwork, MP3 files and a group chat named “Album” with a text reading “Child With Wolves.”
It’s been nearly three years since the 23-year-old rapper shared his debut album The Melodic Blue, marking the end of this era with the Prime Video exclusive “The Melodic Blue,” where Keem previewed a trio of tracks titled “Rock Me,” “Torch” and “White Laces” with James Blake.
Blake joins the brief list of featured artists across both standard and deluxe editions of TMB, which includes Kendrick Lamar, Don Toliver, Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Brent Faiyaz and Lil Uzi Vert.
Keem and pgLang founder (and cousin) Kendrick performed as “The Hillbillies” at Camp Flog Gnaw in November — headlining the Tyler, The Creator-constructed festival at Dodger Stadium. The “family ties” duo’s single of the same name, produced by Evilgiane, was an inkling to more collaborative efforts in the future; perhaps a joint album as well.
