Denzel Curry reunites with Cold Blooded Soul Band for ‘Live At Electric Lady’ EP

As Denzel Curry reaches new heights of his career with every release, he has partnered with Spotify to release a live recording of his session at the legendary Electric Lady studios.

Serving as a reunion with Cold Blooded Soul Band, Zel brings a soulful energy to the 7-track EP, consisting of four of his favorite tracks from his 2022 album Melt My Eyez See Your Future, as well as two covers and a previously unreleased single.

Denzel executes the live versions of “Walkin,” “Troubles,” “Angelz” and “X-Wing,” bringing a whole different energy to tracks we have already grown to love. Making the most of the opportunity to record at the iconic New York studio, Zel covered a couple of his personal favorites: Erykah Badu’s “Didn’t Cha Know” with Bilal and “Lonely Man” from the Japanese TV show Detective Story.

To round out the tracklist, Denzel includes “Endtroduction,” a moody new single with a funky instrumental and the “ULT” rapper’s signature machine gun flow. Blaring horns and a brooding baseline complement his relentless bars on the last track of the EP, bringing a close to the MMYSYF era with a bang.

As Denzel enters a new level of stardom, we look forward to what he has to bring to the table. In the last month he has brought back “Big Ultra” energy on his Instagram, promoting an upcoming single titled “13LOOD ON MY NIKEZ” coming soon.
