Denzel Curry peforms ‘Melt’ tracks, more on NPR Tiny Desk

NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series has given fans a uniquely acoustic, “crammed” live experience over the past decade, attracting performances from legends like Gucci Mane, Alicia Keys, Mac Miller and many more.

Following in the footsteps of the greats, Florida rapper Denzel Curry pulled up with the Cold-Blooded Soul Band to perform hits off of his last four albums, most notably Melt My Eyez, See Your Future.

Leading in with his latest album, Zel rapped the groovy “Melt Session #1” before inviting DJ POSHtronaut to ad-lib his renditions of “Walkin” and “Troubles.” Bringing it back to his previous work, Denzel wasted no time showcasing his best material from Unlocked, ZUU and TA13OO with performances of “DIET_,” “RICKY” and “CLOUT COBAIN.”

2022 has been kind to Denzel since the release of his project, granting him a set at Coachella as well as collaborations with Key Glock, IDK and others. Most recently, Dot Da Genius tapped Zel, JID and Kid Cudi for “Talk About Me,” a brand-new single with a Lyrical Lemonade-produced video.

Along with the announcement that he will be accompanying Cudi on his tour, it seems like Denzel is going hard to promote his latest effort.
