DJ BANGZ has become one of the most well-known international DJs and producers from Germany.
With outstanding performances across Poland, Norway, Belgium, and Israel, BANGZ switched things up late last year by dropping his first independent producer album, Project Venom.
Touting 14 tracks, the album features collaborations from Internet Money star Rich Amiri (WAR READY, “One Call” etc.), and Atlanta’s own Lil Gotit (the brother of the late Lil Keed, known for his work with Future, Gunna, Lil Baby, Young Thug). The album also features rising underground rapper Fourfive, Dsaint (the brother of BNYX), Guap Tarantino and Wacotron, who touts collaborations with 808 Mafia’s Southside, EDM legend Marshmello and G-Herbo, among others in his catalog.
Project Venom is a unique blend of classic dark trap vibes with a modern, Opium-esque twist. “Oak Grove“ with Rich Amiri has amassed over 180,000 streams, while the album has surpassed 400,000 streams since its release in November 2024.
Project Venom was mixed and mastered by Flipthetrack, with DJ BANGZ serving as the executive producer. The album also features other internationally successful co-producers, including macshooter49, (Lil Baby, Quavo, Busta Rhymes), Duce (Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, Takeoff) and DB! (Kanye West, Future, Nicki Minaj).
BANGZ also shared a video for his and Lil Gotit’s collab “Top Off,” which officially made him the first international producer to be featured in a music video with the Atlanta rapper. The album includes two additional music videos: “Been 2” by Cece Bke, a rising artist from Chicago, and ‘La Pègre’ by Coffio, an upcoming rapper from France.
