In July 2020, Mobile, Alabama native Flo Milli made a stunning first impression with her debut mixtape Ho, Why Is You Here?. Containing smash-hit singles like “In The Party” and “Beef FloMix” — both of which eclipsing 100 million Spotify streams since its release — Milli’s ascension as one of the game’s fastest-rising female emcees was seemingly in the cards from the start.
Now, two days before the two-year anniversary of her breakout tape, Flo Milli has circled back to continue questioning her unnamed adversary on her debut studio album You Still Here, Ho ? (July 20).
Initially, the album was intended to release on Friday (July 22), but her excitement for her fans to tune into her new chapter prompted her to release the project two days early. The album’s track list, along with features from fellow rap counterparts like Babyface Ray and Rico Nasty, is loaded with her hottest promotional singles like “PBC,” June’s “Conceited” and “No Face,” which she dropped last week on July 12.
After the 15 songs slated for the original track list, Flo included two additional bonus tracks in “Ice Baby” (2021) and “Roaring 20s” (2020), both of which she put out before this year.
The morning after You Still Here, Ho ?‘s release, Flo unleashed the music video for “No Face,” which shows her and some accomplices taking a gas station hostage, as she rhymes about how mesmerizing her face-sitting skills are.
Throughout the album’s rollout, Flo put together creative skits that parody reality shows, including one with Guapdad 4000, to emphasize the bold, impatient attitude she expands on during the project.
Fans should consider this early release as a gift from Flo Milli, considering how thorough and well-executed her entire rollout has been.
