grouptherapy. recruits Baby Tate for the remix of their viral song “Nasty”

After a successful year with the release of their debut album, i was mature for my age, but i was still a child (June 27), grouptherapy. continues to take the industry by storm.

Redefining what it means to be a supergroup, the trio wasted no time in closing the year out strong with the remix to their viral song “Nasty” on Friday (Dec. 1), which features one of the hottest upcoming female emcees Baby Tate.

If the original song wasn’t infectious enough, the remix is sure to get stuck in your head. The bounce on the production is very reminiscent of early 2000’s Timberland, as SWIM and Jadagrace take over the hook showcasing their chemistry before Jada’s humbled-confidence shines throughout the first verse.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as “Nasty” accelerates when TJOnline and SWIM’s second verses weave together, playing into their strengths of clever wordplay. All of this happens before Baby Tate comes through and goes unapologetically crazy — surrendering her most grotesque desires.

We always knew we wanted to do a remix to ‘Nasty,’ it was just a question of who and when would be the right fit. We put the open verse challenge up on TikTok and Baby Tate absolutely killed it so we just hit her up like ‘…you wanna be on the song?’ It was perfectly organic.”

grouptherapy. speaking on Baby Tate

Recently earning a nod on Gabe P’s On The Radar Radio — performing their other hit track “DYSBF!” — the trio’s future looks brighter than ever. Climbing the ranks as the No. 1 collective of the new generation, it’s no secret that grouptherapy. will remain both consistent and diligent on their way to the top.
