Juice WRLD drops extended version of ‘The Pre-Party’ EP

The Party is back on, as Juice WRLD’s label Grade A shares a pregame to the late-rapper’s long-awaited final album.

Dropping The Pre-Party, a four-track EP designed to hold over fans ahead of Juice’s long-awaited full-length album, each song is considered to be a grail amongst the JW community. The latest offerings to the pack (updated on Oct. 14) are the beloved “Cavalier” and “Both Ways,” which features a music video directed by and starring close collaborator Trippie Redd and DotCom Nirvan.

“World Tour” (widely known as “AQUAFINA”) and “LIGHTYEARS” featuring Young Thug (known as “Sky High”), made their streaming debuts on Sept. 9. Along with the new tracks, a countdown was posted to Juice WRLD’s Instagram story, with many fans believing it is the elusive release date to The Party Never Ends.

The Party Never Ends will be Juice’s “final album,” Lil Bibby revealed last year, and was first announced in the summer of 2022. It will be released on Nov. 29, 2024.

This is Juice’s latest posthumous drop in a long line of late-efforts, most recently appearing on Ski Mask The Slump God’s new album 11th Dimension. Lace It,” “The Light,” “Face 2 Face” and others preceded “The Pre-Party’s” surprise release. Juice’s two posthumous albums, Legends Never Die and Fighting Demons, were both commercially embraced and beloved by fans, earning No. 1 and No. 2 debuts on the Billboard 200 respectively.

This story will be updated.
