KA$HDAMI keeps winning on new album ‘hypernova’

In the five months since he released his debut studio album epiphany, rising underground phenom KA$HDAMI continues to catch fire this year.

Not only did he drop his fourth full-length project hypernova on Friday (Nov. 12), but further proves why he is a leading voice within the new wave’s signature sound — and has leveled up because of it.

Earning a solo star feature from Trippie Redd on “Head$hot!,” KA$H has elevated his personality completely on hypernova drawling from his previous projects. Continuing to come into his own, he sets beats ablaze and spazzes on tracks like “Intermission” — an ethereal banger with vicious bars and a fiery instrumental. With guttural ad-libs and passionate cadences, the teenage talent’s knack for injecting raw emotion into each of his tracks is astounding to say the least.

KA$HDAMI continues hot streak on new single ‘Intermission’

KA$H’s hypernova exists in between a state of dark and light — combining atmospheric, plugg rap and hyperpop elements that create the rage rap fans have come to love. His previous single “Public” also reappears on the tracklist, demonstrating his glitchy “pluggnb” side as a softer alternative to his rage-induced cuts.

In July, listeners received DAMI’s first studio album, epiphany. Boasting appearances from BabySantana, Riovaz, D’mari Harris, yvngxchris and SSGKobe, the project initially provided a diverse look into the versatile young rapper’s eclectic style and delivery.

While epiphany may have ushered in KA$HDAMI’s come-up naturally, hypernova is a more concise, focused and personal look into his ever-evolving artistry. From mosh-pitting bangers to hypnotic plugg tracks, KA$HDAMI continues to impress at just 16-years-old — honing his sound and superstar appeal with each new release.
