Opium enigma Ken Carson surprised fans with the 5-track deluxe to his album, X, at midnight on Monday (Oct. 31).
Teasing the project last week, Carson alluded to “Halloween” being its release date alongside a rage-inducing snippet. Among the five XTENDED cuts, Ken’s long-awaited track “Freestyle 3” also landed on the revitalized project — which sent fans into a frenzy during a recent live show.

X’s extended cut also coincided the release of a stark visual for “MDMA” with Opium labelmate Destroy Lonely — who’s still riding the success of his debut album No Stylist.
While Lonely has also teased a deluxe to NS, the pair are also set to go on separate tours later this winter and into 2023.
