As life goes on and on… and on, Oliver Tree continues recreating new versions of “Life Goes On.”
The 28-year-old artist has a whopping five different versions of his viral hit “Life Goes On.” Just in November alone, Oliver Tree released two separate remixes of the track, one of which featured Grammy Award-winning artist Ty Dolla $ign, while the other was a catchy acoustic version.
However, the genre-defying musician isn’t done with remixes quite yet as he released another version of the track — recruiting Trippie Redd, Ski Mask The Slump God and Cole Bennett for a Lyrical Lemonade video treatment.
While the original version starts with Tree’s indie-style voice, the remix kicks off with Trippie’s distinct and raspy melodies. Soon later, we are greeted by the quick and one-of-a-kind flow that is Ski Mask The Slump God. One significant change to this remix besides the added features is that a distorted guitar sound is added to the instrumental when Tree harmonizes over the track.
The visuals for the track are truly something extraordinary, to say the least. Tree joined forces with Cole Bennett to bring their creative visions to life, as the visual features some pretty incredible special guests like producer DJ Scheme and the twin internet stars known as The Island Boys.
The music video takes place in a pizza shop that Oliver Tree and The Island Boys attempt to rob. Trippie is seen in the back cooking up some pizzas, while Ski is seen entering the parlor, flashing his weapon, stealing a slice of pizza, and leaving. The visual is fun and full of personality as the all three artists bounce their playful nature off one another sticking up a fast food chain.
Each time we hear of a new remix to “Life Goes On,” seems as if it gets better with every new rendition. Here’s hoping that Oliver Tree, Trippie Redd and Ski Mask The Slump God continue developing their artistic visions as “life goes on.”
