Detroit rap trio ShittyBoyz are redefining the term “shitty” as they continue to explode in popularity by way of their comedic lyricism and viral instrumentals.
With their new project Trifecta 2, BabyTron, TrDee and StanWill have proved once again that their chemistry is unmatched. All three rappers are unstoppable as they body all 14 of the project’s innovative yet nostalgic instrumentals with their inimitable D-town flair.
With a couple of close collaborators appearing on the project, ShittyBoyz kept it in the family — relying on their existing dynamic to make yet another authentic and polished project. Their efforts were nothing but successful, as they manage to repackage scam rap classics into chart-topping bangers.
Using a classic combination of luxurious samples and fast-paced drum patterns for their beats, the trio use a combination of threatening and goofy bars that matches the unexpected magnetism of each song’s production.
From Tron’s appearance on the XXL Freshman List to this new project, ShittyBoyz have seen nothing but success this year, proving that they have what it takes to make it as rap’s next superstar trio.
