With the “end of the world” looming, The Kid LAROI is preparing for yet another takeover still “growing up” in the spotlight.

Stemming from his hit track “Thousand Miles” — the lead single off his upcoming debut album, KIDS ARE GROWING UP — LAROI’s release date for his highly-anticipated LP has seemingly been “locked in” since April. While LAROI has been spotted with Fivio Foreign and Post Malone — hopping on the latter’s “Wasting Angels” off Twleve Carat Toothachethe 18-year-old Aussie wunderkind is gearing up to drop his next track with Foreign on Friday (July 8).

Bringing out LAROI during his set at Wireless Festival last weekend (July 1-3), “Paris To Tokyo” evidently sees their March link-up come to fruition. The single — which will presumably land on LAROI’s debut — was announced by Foreign via Instagram (July 1), as a drill-style of LAROI’s sound has yet to be explored until now.

On top of his collaboration with The B.I.B.L.E superstar, LAROI also previewed more new music at Wireless Festival. Showing out in London by surprising fans with a special guest, Nardo Wick, the pair performed and teased their upcoming joint track — which should also find its way on KIDS ARE GROWING UP.

In June, the “Stay” singer posted another teaser with longtime friend and collaborator Lil Tecca, as LAROI is looking to get “the band back together” stemming from the pair’s breakout Lyrical Lemonade-assisted hit “DIVA” in 2020.

Without revealing any concrete details about the project, KAGU is expected to be LAROI’s first proper album stemming from his F*CK LOVE mixtape trilogy in 2021. Following a short hiatus late last year, LAROI returned to social media in January to reveal he was working on the album, originally titled THE FIRST TIME (or “TFT” according to his hashtags). On March 3, he scrapped TFT to KIDS ARE GROWING UP, alluding to the album’s essence in how LAROI has matured as a superstar in the limelight.

After being spotted with Don Toliver in the studio, posting a pair of photos and a few snippets, LAROI took the time to update fans on the then-TFT via Instagram, saying that he’s been “workin day and night for you all” also thanking Donny for the feature.

LAROI took to socials again shortly after the session with Don — teasing more collaborations with his debut right around the corner. Spotted with Nardo Wick, Hit-Boy, Fivio Foreign and others in the studio, the young star continues to put himself around the game’s best and brightest talents.

Along with his time in the studio, LAROI is also readying for his upcoming world tour later this year. Previously announcing that he postponed the sold-out legs of his European and US stops, his 3-month long trek is set to kick off in his native Sydney on May 26 — promising his fans that his hometown show will go on. The European leg of his “End Of The World Tour” officially starts on June 18 as Laroi returns to the States on Aug. 2 in Minneapolis and will perform through Sept. 11.

LAROI has experienced an ascent to fame like no other. Following breakout hits in “DIVA,” “WITHOUT YOU” and “Stay” over the course of 2020-21, LAROI has become a household name in the industry virtually overnight. Before his break, LAROI divulged to fans that he was making “the best music” he’s ever made in his life — garnering more hype for the project’s eventual release.

Initially signing with Grade A’s G Money and Lil Bibby — which led to his friendship and association with Juice WRLD — LAROI has asserted himself as one of the biggest pop stars music has seen since Justin Bieber. Recently signing to Bieber’s management with Scooter Braun, LAROI’s latest effort F*CK LOVE 3 (which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200) capped off the mixtape trilogy that’s allowed him to flourish in the spotlight.

In a letter he penned last November, LAROI discussed his decision for taking some time away from music, writing that “this is what I need to do to give you all the best music possible.” Stemming from his time off, LAROI’s next chapter looks to be much more riveting than his last.
