Five months removed from the release of his career-elevating mixtape We Love You Tecca 2, lined with phenomenal features like Chief Keef, NAV, Gunna, iann dior, Trippie Redd and Lil Yachty, Lil Tecca is back to work.
On Jan. 28, the New York native released his brand new single “Fallin,” which builds upon his rich, melodic sound spearheaded by some of the catchiest hooks in the game right now.
“Fallin” spans two minutes, in similar style to most of Lil Tecca’s brief cuts, and features a laid-back, spacey beat that allows Tecca’s vocals to shine through. As he details the tug-of-war dynamic he has with his significant other, he acknowledges on the hook that they both truly know what they want, each other.

While entertaining this love interest, Tecca still dedicates time on the bridge and verse to stunt. He depicts his focused mindset, as he locks in while referring to himself as his alias “Tecca Vercetti,” inspired by “Grand Theft Auto.”

The visuals for “Fallin” align with the atmosphere of the track wonderfully, as the black-and-white world Tecca finds himself in launches him into anti-gravity disarray.
As Tecca’s first release in nearly half a year, “Fallin” expands and strengthens the sound he honed in on in his previous era.
