Unc & Phew duo recruit ‘grandpa’ Birdman on ‘Big Stunna’

Following the apparent departure of the iconic Migos era, the “Unc & Phew” duo are back at it for the third time this year — recruiting hip-hop OG and ”Big Stunna” himself, Birdman.

With Offset deciding to explore his solo ventures, Quavo and Takeoff embraced their dual-threat approach earlier this summer and haven’t looked back since. After releasing tracks like “Hotel Lobby” and “Us vs. Them” with Gucci Mane, their latest effort proves to be their most exhilarating yet. While “Big Stunna” was released on Aug. 26, the single coincided with their guest appearance on DJ Khaled‘s God Did track “PARTY.”

On “Big Stunna,” fans experience three of rap’s most magnificent pillars: Quavo creating a catchy melody by rapping “Big stunna (Ha, ha, ha, ha),” Takeoff utilizing his beloved flow and gracefully rapping about his lavish lifestyle and Birdman employing his distinctive vocals and steadily paced melodies.

The accompanying visual for “Big Stunna” shows Quay and Take in the center of several cars aggressively doing donuts around them. With expensive whips of their own, Unc and Phew cruise around Atlanta alongside the “Rich Gang” founder.

Recently confirming that their upcoming album is right around the corner, Quavo and Takeoff could not be more locked in. This latest single is only further proof of the obvious chemistry between them, while also adding a fitting feature verse from a timeless boss.
