YSB Tril is back and kicking off 2022 on a high note with his first single of the year titled “Paralyzed.”
North Carolina up-and-comer YSB Tril has become known for his raspy vocals and tasteful harmonies, all while touching a variety of genres — courtesy of his catchy hooks and captivating sound.
The 20-year-old has created plenty of buzz around his name as of recently. Just this past year, Tril was able to release his debut album HOTSHOT which consisted of 13 tracks and featured artists like Bankroll Hayden and Lil Spirit. Tril also hit an impressive achievement with his song “Count Me In” being featured on the Madden 22 soundtrack.
As Tril continues to draw in attention — courtesy of his musical abilities — he also continues to collaborate with some new wave talent as well. Thanks to some mutual connections and ongoing conversations via DM’s, YSB Tril was able to recruit the hyperpop prodigy Midwxst on his latest efforts.
“Paralyzed” is a meaningful track written and sung from the soul — inspired by a past relationship that didn’t end up working out, Tril discusses all the struggles that come with a relationship and having to make the tough decision of letting go.
You left me paralyzed
Hard to find someone to touch
When this world is so sterilized
Tryna watch the back of my heart
I was terrified
