Throughout most of 2021, DC The Don has stayed busy gearing up for his second studio album My Own Worst 3nemy.
His rollout, which has now spanned several months, has methodically built up hype for his first project since his versatile debut, Come As You Are (2020). As a means to hold fans over — as well as to potentially add songs to MOW3’s tracklist — DC The Don has been steadily dropping singles as his sophomore effort approaches.
Along with this trend, Donny has shared a few loosies to keep his fans from starving completely. First came his December SoundCloud exclusive “Thanos,” which he says he originally created in 2018. Then, on New Year’s Eve, DC The Don put out his second SoundCloud exclusive single of the month titled “Legend Of Zelda!“
On the track, Donny rattles off a handful of his typical long-winded verses. Relative to other artists in his melodic trap category, DC utilizes his sassy voice to still string together verses with well-thought-out bars and allusions.

Inserting “ooh” harmonies and an upbeat flow, “Legend Of Zelda!” sees Donny continue to stay in the same bag he widened with 2021’s litany of hit singles like “Notice Me” and “What Now?“
The visuals for “Legend Of Zelda!” show the process of recording and creating My Own Worst 3nemy, including studio sessions and shooting music videos, particularly for his latest promotional single “Arrest Me.”
MOW3 has certainly been a long time coming, as Donny recently unveiled the tracklist to his fans which included more than 20 songs. Two of his 2021 promotional singles are set to land on the album, including “Arrest Me” and “REROUT3,” produced by jetsonmade.
While the album currently has no release date — or at least that is what he and his team would like us to believe — singles like the electric “Legend Of Zelda!” continue to keep Donny fresh in rotation.
