Warhol.SS isn’t lost on his new album ‘Where’s Warhol 2’

After four long years of no full-length projects, fans finally found buzzing Chicago rapper Warhol.SS on his latest offering, Where’s Warhol 2.

While Warhol has been somewhat quiet as of late, he has released a couple of EPs and numerous singles since 2018 — often collaborating with artists like Famous Dex, JackBoy, Shoreline Mafia, Ugly God, Lil Mosey, Lil Tecca and more. Racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud, the Chi-Town wunderkind kicked his comeback into gear by dropping off his highly-anticipated sequel to Where’s Warhol on Friday (March 11).

In the five years since Where’s Warhol, the young artist has had time to reflect, master his craft and find inspiration by remaining private behind the scenes, saying he’s “tapping back in to the true Warhol” on his new record.

I found inspiration (For Where’s Warhol 2 ) by isolating myself from everything and everyone… Tapping back in to the true Warhol.

While remaining secluded from the public, Warhol brings his sound to new heights on his latest 16-track effort. A combination of drill and trap-influenced beats, the project is filled with Warhol’s unique sound, in which he showcases his elite rapping abilities that have put him in the position he is currently in.

Although Warhol has worked with many different artists in recent years, the album contains just two features from Dc2Trill and Atlanta native CEO Trayle, as they are both featured on the song “Blue 42” off the project.

Just ahead of the album, Warhol.SS dropped off its lead single “No Time” — which came with a pairing visual. Shortly after, he shared the visual to “MISFIT CHILD” on March 20, as Warhol continues to announce his return with a bang.

Ultimately, Where’s Warhol 2 is a major step in the right direction for rising lyricist, jumping back in the groove of things by delivering high-quality bangers that are built to last. While Where’s Warhol 2 will surely hold listeners over for quite some time, fans are hopeful that they don’t have to wait another four years to get a new album from the fringe Chicago star.
