The visual for “Daydreaming,” directed and created by Knxwledge within Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V, is a wonder to watch, as a video game version of .Paak wanders around Los Santos with incredible views and shots to match. The track’s sultry, slow-burning bounce is aided by an electric guitar solo from Jairus “J.Mo” Mozee.
Amid the single’s release, NxWorries announced their 2023 spring tour dates, which include a few festival slots over the course of the trek. The follow-up to their last full-length album, Yes Lawd! (2016), was led by last year’s “Where I Go” — featuring riveting vocals from R&B songstress H.E.R. .Paak’s last solo album was 2019’s Ventura, keeping up appearances on tracks with Cordae, KAYTRANADA and his run with Bruno Mars as Silk Sonic.
